The next day, we were due to fly to Sydney, but our flight was cancelled. Apparently, the windshield was cracked, and they didn’t have a spare replacement airplane.
So, we were all awarded an overnight in another hotel (a Holiday Inn, not quite up to the standards we had become used to), and then took the flight the next day.
