Cranberry Squares, A Family Favorite
The sweet hint of almond flavor in combination with tart cranberries makes this recipe a hit every time, and it’s easy to make.
Servings: 15 to 20 portions
Ingredients
- 2 sticks melted or softened butter
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. almond flavoring
- 3 cups frozen cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- Whisk butter (softened or melted), eggs, and almond flavoring in mixing bowl. Slowly add flour and sugar until a batter begins to form.
- Add 3 cups of cranberries. Berries may be fresh or frozen with no thawing or slicing necessary. Fold batter until cranberries are covered in batter.
- Spray 13″ X 9″ baking pan with cooking spray. Once prepared, spread batter evenly in pan and bake at 350℉ for 1 hour. If you like your edges crispy, let it bake until the top is completely golden brown.
