Java supports three types of comments:

• C-style comments:
  • /* ... */
  • May not be nested

• C++-style comments:
  • // until end of line

• Special "doc comment":
  • /** ... */
  • May not be nested
  • Processed by javadoc into simple online documentation .HTML pages
