Intendente Taproom for a few craft beers, and maybe eat our evening meal there? Here&#8217;s what they say on their website about their food:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our kitchen is open late, serving a seafood-inspired pub food, burgers as well as vegetarian and vegan options.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not terribly inspiring, but could be a good choice after a long day on the road. Here&#8217;s what <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Restaurant_Review-g189158-d25436711-Reviews-Dois_Corvos_Intendente_Taproom-Lisbon_Lisbon_District_Central_Portugal.html#REVIEWS\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Restaurant_Review-g189158-d25436711-Reviews-Dois_Corvos_Intendente_Taproom-Lisbon_Lisbon_District_Central_Portugal.html#REVIEWS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TripAdvisor has to say about it<\/a>. The reviews are mostly about the beer and the atmosphere, but we&#8217;ll see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Petiscos_the_Portuguese_Tapas\"><\/span>Petiscos, the Portuguese Tapas<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It turns out that Portugal has a thing very similar to Tapas, called <a href=\"https:\/\/godiscoverportugal.com\/petiscos\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/godiscoverportugal.com\/petiscos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">petiscos<\/a>. I&#8217;m sure we&#8217;ll discover that thoroughly, if we hadn&#8217;t already done so by then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Saturday_December_2nd\"><\/span>Saturday, December 2nd<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m proposing that we go to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sintra\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sintra\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sintra<\/a> today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image It talks a lot about buying tickets. It sounds like we would do much better (and cheaper!) using Uber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p class=\"responsive-video-wrap clr\"><iframe title=\"????????\u200d\u2642\ufe0f travel guide to SINTRA, the perfect day-trip from LISBON ???????? #123\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ao-T6ap8HvU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The video also makes some very useful suggestions for where to eat lunch, and some of the delicacies we could choose from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This makes me think that we might do well to find a tour of Sintra, where things, including transportation, would be taken care of. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s a good possibility for a tour: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/AttractionProductReview-g189158-d23867078-Small_group_Sintra_Pena_Palace_option_Regaleira_Roca_Cascais-Lisbon_Lisbon_Distric.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/AttractionProductReview-g189158-d23867078-Small_group_Sintra_Pena_Palace_option_Regaleira_Roca_Cascais-Lisbon_Lisbon_Distric.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Small group Sintra, Pena Palace, option Regaleira, Roca, Cascais&#8221;<\/a> . Take a look at the maximum number of people in the group, and what&#8217;s included. We would have to buy tickets to see the inside of the Pena Place &#8212; and they say to check with them for time confirmation for those tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyway, we return to our hotel by simply reversing the steps of how we got to Sintra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sunday_December_3rd\"><\/span>Sunday, December 3rd<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s my suggestion for day 2 in Lisbon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, we make our way to the Bel\u00e9m District, by bus or metro:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe Bel\u00e9m<\/a><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">where they claim to be the inventor of the egg tart, known generally in Portugal as <em>pastel de nata<\/em>, &#8220;cream pastry&#8221;, but here as <em>pastel de Bel\u00e9m<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a
