class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It looks quite promising!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hotel&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.h10hotels.com\/en\/barcelona-hotels\/h10-montcada\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.h10hotels.com\/en\/barcelona-hotels\/h10-montcada\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a> says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, next to the cosmopolitan Born district and a few metres from the cathedral, the&nbsp;<strong>H10 Montcada<\/strong>&nbsp;is a&nbsp;<strong>Boutique Hotel<\/strong>&nbsp;located in a neoclassical building on Via Laietana. The hotel, with a decoration inspired by the trips of yesteryear, offers a carefully selected cuisine and the Sunset Lounge Terrace with spectacular views of the city\u2019s historic centre.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s where it&#8217;s located in Barcelona:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d6417.109554707707!2d2.1750084708719912!3d41.380872943064475!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x12a4a2f93f59298d%3A0x3b91a32a3431f6d3!2sH10%20Montcada!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sus!4v1697393453552!5m2!1sen!2sus\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:44px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Arrival_and_First_Night\"><\/span>Arrival and First Night<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We arrive on Saturday, November 18th, check into the hotel, and probably lie down for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dinner\"><\/span>Dinner<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My recommendation is to go eat dinner at <strong>Bar del Pla<\/strong> (here&#8217;s their <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Restaurant_Review-g187497-d1911643-Reviews-Bar_del_Pla-Barcelona_Catalonia.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Restaurant_Review-g187497-d1911643-Reviews-Bar_del_Pla-Barcelona_Catalonia.html\" target=\"_blank\">page on TripAdvisor <\/a>&#8212; it gets very good reviews, and a Travelers&#8217; Choice 2023). It was recommended by James Blick, a friend of Geoff&#8217;s friend James, in his <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spainrevealed.com\/tapas101\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.spainrevealed.com\/tapas101\" target=\"_blank\">Tapas 101 Guide<\/a>. target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a> that reviewed Bar del Pla:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bar del Pla<\/strong> is located in the heart El Born. It\u2019s a classic place to eat. The highlights for me were the ox tail topped with foie gras and the long braised braised cheek. Yep, two braised dishes that were solid and worth singling out Bar del Pla. These two braised dishes were the best braises the whole trip!
