Set Instant Pot to <em>manual &gt;&gt; high pressure &gt;&gt; <\/em>and set the timer to 12 minutes. Make sure the valve is properly seated on the top of the Instant Pot.<\/span><div class=\"wprm-spacer\"><\/div><span style=\"display: block;\">It will take a few minutes for the pressure to build up enough to start counting down from 12 minutes.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-7576-step-0-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Once the cooking time ends, quick release the pressure by opening the valve to let the steam out.<\/span><div class=\"wprm-spacer\"><\/div><span style=\"display: block;\">Then leave it on low for 10 minutes.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-7576-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Once you remove the lid from your Instant Pot, you may notice that there is still some liquid on top of your steel cut oats. This is normal!
