Tapas/Pintxos/Petiscos

Tapas originate in Spain. A “tapa” is basically a small plate of food. Today, tapas vary from being small appetizers to larger plates of food. Tapas are a style of serving food, and in Spain they are shared among those eating at the table.

Pintxos (Pinchos in Spanish) are the Basque version of Tapas.
Petiscos are the Portuguese version of Tapas.
